Hello Bruce—

I am so sorry to be so late in getting back to you. We gave Pat the blanket a week and a half ago. It took that long to coordinate schedules because Faith Maloney (one of the Best Friends founders) wanted to be the one to give Pat the blanket. First Pat was out of town and then Faith. We went to Pat’s office at Best Friends and waited around for the photographer. Pat had no idea what was going on but I could tell she was nervous because Faith was there. Sort of like how you would feel if the company CEO just dropped in. Anyway the photographer finally arrived and Faith gave a little speech and then opened up the blanket. Pat screamed “It’s My Babette!!” and started crying. Of course, I started crying too as did Faith and the photographer. After she thanked everyone about 50 times, still crying, she ran out the door to show the blanket to her husband (who also works at Best Friends) and to everyone else she could show it to. It was a real hit, Bruce.

I received an email from Faith stating that Pat had showed the blanket all over and that everyone was very impressed with the workmanship.

Thank you so very much! I hope you know how much this meant to me. It truly is the best present I have ever gotten. Please thank Jayne Reed for me. You guys are the absolute BEST!
